Step 1. Check the Android OS Version of Your Device

- Tap on 'Settings' and then go to 'About device/phone' and tap 'Build number' for 7 times in rapid succession. Next, you need to go back to the 'Settings'.
- Now find and tap the 'Developer options' and then go on to toggle on the buttons next to 'Developer options' and 'USB debugging'.
3) For Android 3.0 - 4.1
- Enter the 'Settings' on your Android phone.
- Click on 'Developer options' under the section and turn on the 'USB debugging' mode.
4) For Android 2.1 - 2.3
- Tap on 'Settings' and go on to choose 'Applications'.
- Then you need to click the 'Development' option and turn on the 'USB debugging' mode.
